Sailing Wanganui is one of many sailing clubs in New Zealand excelling in both its senior and junior fleets.

Trafic light system.
With the new traffic light system coming into play on Friday 3rd December, Yachting New Zealand has required the committee to make a decision about vaccination status at the club.
We have decided that everyone at the club spectating or sailing must be double vaccinated. Unless you are of course under 12 or have a medical exemption.
This means that in code red of the traffic light system we are aloud up to 100 people at the club for a gathering, there are no limits at orange or green.
You will need to present your vaccine pass to me(Lisa McDonnell Secretary) and I will verify it with the verifier app and record it.
Once recorded you do not need to present your pass again until your pass has expired.
You still need to scan in using the QR code on the tracer app or sign in. Mask wearing is still recommended at your choice
Please always come 90 minutes before start time for rigging and briefing, racing will commence without you.
