New Plymouth Yacht Club Web Site

New Plymouth has a new Site to have a look at.

Hosted at sportsground it is a big improvement over the old Domain named site which proved to be a maintenance and update issue for members.

The new hosting site is designed to allow updates to be made easily by anyone with the minimum of experiance.

As usual, the preference is to go to sea, then the river, then Putiki. We will try for a mixed format of long races (Mowhanau), Olympic style at sea, triangles in river, match racing, poker race etc. ALL centre boarders welcome. Just a cruise up the coast is considered also. There is a possibility of a Manawatu to Wanganui cruise also if conditions allow it.

Replacement pages for the Handbook are available from the Club (on scheduled days) or from Computer Care Wanganui, 18 Ingestre Street during business hours.

Learn to Sail Training

Sailing Wanganui run Sail Training for all ages commencing October and running through to December each year.

Starting at 10am and running for approximately two hours this training would normally be held at Putiki but if weather is not suitable it may be held at the Club in Gilbert Street.

Boats and Safety Equipment will be supplied.

Current Videos are what I could find, so if you have any suitable and relevant tell me so they can be included and available for all to see.

The Images page content is streamed from my own in-house Web Server. As a result links cannot be tested from the LAN, so if you have a problem let me know by clicking the Report a site problem at the bottom of each page.
